Chittagong Test: Pakistani openers confident batting, scored 145 runs without loss

Chittagong : In the first match of the two-Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh, the Pakistani openers batted confidently in reply to the hosts’ 330 runs.

The second day’s play ended today in the match being played at Zahoor Ahmed Stadium in Chittagong in which Pakistan scored 145 runs without any loss.

National team openers Abid Ali and Abdullah Shafiq batted confidently and formed an excellent partnership and both scored half-centuries. Abdullah Shafiq scored a half-century in his debut match.

Abdullah Shafiq (52) and Abid Ali (93) are not out while Bangladesh has a 185-run lead over Pakistan.

Earlier, when Bangladesh started their first incomplete innings, Lytton Das was batting at 113 and Mushfiqur Rahim at 82.
