Covid-19 vaccine sweeping campaign to be kicked off from Monday: DC Badin

BADIN: Covid-19 vaccination sweeping campaign will be kicked off from Monday and more than 742789 targets above of age of 12 from 27 UCs of district will be achieved through 500 deployed teams in district Badin by visiting house to house of different planned union councils of district Badin under the campaign.

These views were expressed by Deputy Commissioner Badin, Agha Shahnawaz Khan while presiding over an important official meeting “review arrangements of Covid-19 vaccine sweeping campaign” of district Badin on Saturday at Campus office, DC house Badin.

The meeting was attending by large number of Government officials and representatives of NGOs including Mohammad Younis Rind, Assistant Commissioner Badin, Kashif Raza Mangi, Assistant Commissioner, Shaheed Fazal Rahu, Sanuallah Sardar, Assistant Commissioner, Tando Bago, Ghulam Nabi Solangi, Assistant Commissioner, Matli, Wajahat Ali, Assistant Commissioner Talhar, Abdul Ghafar Khoso, Deputy Director, Social Welfare Department, Farooq Ahmed Leghari, District Health Officer, Badin, Karim Bux Gadahi, NStop Officer, Sohail Rathore, UNICEF, Dr. Kamil Memon, Focal person, Covid-19, Sadique Khaskheli, Manager, SRSO, Imran Khuwaja, HANDS, Sawan Khaskheli, Manager, LHDP and Mukhtiarkars of all concerned Tulakas of district Badin.


Through the Covid-19 vaccine sweeping campaign, launched by district administration Badin, total 742789 targets above of age 12 from 27 UCs of district including Union Councils Bhugra Memon, Seerani, Abdullah Shah, Kadi Kazia, Mithi-III, Mohd Khan Bhurgari and others will be covered, DC Badin seemed satisfied.


UCMO, vaccinators, LHWs, UCPO, UC Secretary, Tapedar and others designatory will be part of the Union Council levels team meanwhile Assistant Commissioner, Mukhtiarkar, District Health Department, Social Welfare Department and NGOs including SRSO, LHDP, HANDS, FPAP, NRSP and others would be included in the Taluka and district level team of vaccine sweeping campaign.

Meanwhile more than 30 youths were being hired for maintaining the data base of the Covid-19 sweeping campaign on the daily basis under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Badin.

DC Badin said that no accuses to be accepted in any case of the negligence saying that mobilization for Covid-19 vaccine would play pivotal role for meeting the targets. He said that all possible strategies to be adopted adding that district administration would facilitate all teams and simultaneously monitor entire process on daily basis amid to overwhelm the faced issues and challenges.

Before conclusion of meeting, Dr. Kamil Memon, Focal person for Covid-19, district Badin apprised the meeting that two lacks dozes of different the Covid vaccine would be reached in first phase at district Badin and others will be acquired as per teams demands.
