KANDHKOT : The Deputy Commissioner and Administrator of District Council Kashmore-Kandhkot, Munawar Ali Mithani distributed scholarship cheques amongst the students at the District Complex on Friday. The cheques of a total of Rs 500,000 were distributed amongst 32 students so that they could continue their education. Addressing on the occasion, DC Munawar Ali Mithani said that the students are an asset of the country due to which we must play our role to empower them with education. He urged the people to educate their children without any gender difference so that the girls could also play their active role in the development of the country. He announced to reserve more funds for the scholarships in the next budget so that the students could be supported till the completion of their higher education.
