DIG Asif Ijaz Sheikh’s diagnosis of corona shifted to ventilator

The number of infected Sindh police personnel is increasing during the second wave of corona virus in Pakistan.

Out of 247 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, 12 police personnel have tested positive for the corona virus, after which 3,753 police officers and youths have been infected with the corona virus so far, out of which 3,486 have recovered.

Twenty police officers, including the Superintendent of Police (SP), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and an inspector, have died, while 247 police officers are still affected by the global epidemic, most of them isolated in their homes or different. They are being treated in hospitals.

According to Wallace sources, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Asif Ijaz Sheikh is also one of the senior police officers infected with the corona virus.

Asif Ijaz Sheikh is undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Clifton where he is kept on a ventilator.

The family of Asif Ijaz Sheikh has appealed to pray for his speedy recovery.
