Diya WFC organizes Inter School Tournament to celebrate Women’s Day

KARACHI: Diya WFC in collaboration with Sindh Women Football Association and AFC organized Women Day by organizing Inter School Tournament on March 21st and 22nd. Around 10 schools participated in the age category of U-14 and U-11.
1st Position in the age category of U-11 was won by Haque Academy Blue.
2nd Position was won by SMB Fatima.
3rd Position was won by Community School Metroville
Fair play was won by Haque Academy Green.

In the age category of U-14
1st Position was won by SMB Fatima
2nd Position was won by Haque Academy
3rd Position was won by Govt Girls School Korangi

Individual Awards was won by the following players:-

Best GK Ifrah Khurshid

Best Defender Xainab Salman and Dua.

Best Striker Harmen Shaukat and Azka Irfan

Best All rounders Sofia Asif Haque
Fiza

Player of the tournament Kauser Hussein

The Guests at the closing ceremony were different footballers who creates their mark in the field of women football.

Ms. Rukhsar Rashid who was selected from Diya WFC as an official for UEFA Champions in England and World Cup in Qatar in 2023.

Ms. Ashmunain youngest C license Coach from Diya WFC.
Ms. Sherbano National Player and Official of SMB Fatima School.
They made a speech on Women Empowerment, Importance of Education and not to give up on your dreams.
Present on the occasion were President Ms. Sadia Sheikh, Vice President Ms. Naila Sheikh and Umaima Mukhtiar Junior Coach.
The Referees for the tournament were Mr. Naseer and Mr. Karim.
The tournament was organized at the Community Ground.
