Driver attempts to drive over the traffic warden in Lahore

LAHORE: A car with tinted windows hit a traffic warden on Jail Road in Ahur, but the traffic warden jumped and fell on the bonnet of the car.

On the busiest highway in Lahore, Jail Road, where the traffic warden signaled the car with tinted windows to stop, the driver tried to get the car over the traffic warden.

The traffic warden jumped to save his life and lay down on the bonnet of the car.

Video from the Safe Cities Authority’s cameras shows the driver of the car speeding in the same condition. After some distance, the driver zigzags, throws the traffic warden on the road and escapes.

Fortunately, a warden named Wasim escaped injury, but police registered a case against the unidentified car owner at the warden’s instigation and began searching for the vehicle.

According to City Traffic Police Officer (CTO) Syed Hammad, those who take the law into their own hands will be dealt with with iron fists.
