Water level increases at Guddu Barrage

KASHMORE: The level of water has increased in the River Indus at the Guddu Barrage as the concerned authorities have recorded water at 120,000 cusecs. According to the Control Room at the Guddu Barrage water being released from the barrage is 91,000 cusecs. The concerned authorities told the media that in past 24 hours 14,000 cusecs of water has reached more at the Guddu Barrage. After the increase in the level of water the water supply gates to all canals have been opened, so that immediately water could be provided to the growers in the tail-end areas.
