KARACHI: Search engine Google has made important revelations regarding the dramas and TV series searched by Pakistanis during 2020.
According to the search engine, it has provided the most guidance to Pakistanis this year in their search for the historical Turkish drama Ertugrul Ghazi.

Ertugrul Ghazi’s series became so popular in Pakistan that it was also shown on state TV with an Urdu dub.
In March this year, when the country’s epidemic of corona was on the rise, Prime Minister Imran Khan issued a special directive to show the drama on TV to promote Islamic culture and values among the youth.
“When I warned against imitating the West and Bollywood, I was told that this is what the people want to see,” he said.
On the other hand, Imran Khan had earlier said that Ertugrul is one of the most widely shown series, there is no obscenity in it.
