First Hyderabad Marathon 2024 Set to Take Place on January 13

HYDERABAD:The city of Hyderabad is gearing up for its first-ever marathon, scheduled to take place on January 13, 2024. On the directions of Mayor Hyderabad  Kashif Ali Shoro, organised  by Saba Abbasi, a dedicated Council member of the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, the event promises to be a significant milestone for the community.

Under the watchful eye of Mayor Hyderabad, Kashif Ali Shoro, the marathon is expected to draw participants from various walks of life. What sets this event apart is the commendable effort to foster inclusivity. Mayor Kashif Ali Shoro’s commitment to diversity is reflected in the incorporation of Persons with Disabilities and members of the Transgender community in the marathon.

“We are thankful to Mayor Hyderabad, Mr. Kashif Ali Shoro, for his visionary approach in making the marathon an inclusive event,” expressed Saba Abbasi. The inclusion of Persons with Disabilities and Transgender individuals not only adds a unique dimension to the marathon but also sends a powerful message of acceptance and unity.

The organizing team has been working diligently to ensure that the marathon provides a safe and supportive environment for all participants. Special provisions have been made to accommodate the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities, and the route has been designed to be accessible to everyone.
