I am happy that Pakistan will play against strong teams next year, Babar Azam

Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam while expressing happiness over the confirmation of South African cricket team’s tour of Pakistan said that he is looking forward to lead the national team in the two Test matches included in the series.

Babar Azam further said that this would be the first time that I would have the honor of captaining Pakistan in the most important format of cricket at my home ground. Happily, next year Pakistan will have to play regular cricket against strong teams, which will help improve the world rankings.

It should be noted that the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that the South African cricket team will visit Pakistan in January next year. This will be the first visit of the visiting team to Pakistan in 14 years.

Two Test matches and three T20 International matches between the two teams will be played in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.
