The liver itself produces essential cholesterol for the human body, so when a person starts consuming a lot of cholesterol-containing foods, the liver reduces the production of cholesterol due to high cholesterol levels. This is a small change in the total amount of cholesterol in the body. Medical experts warn that if the level of cholesterol in the blood is high, people should avoid eating foods that contain cholesterol, because in this case, there is a risk of an increase in cholesterol levels.
Eat eggs including yolks
People are generally advised to avoid using large quantities of eggs or at least limit the use of egg yolks. A medium-sized egg contains 186 milligrams of cholesterol, which is 62% of the daily requirement (RDI) recommended by medical experts. It is usually recommended to eat 2 to 6 yolks a week. One study examined the effects of eggs on cholesterol levels. The study participants were divided into two groups, one group was fed 2 to 3 whole eggs on a daily basis while the other group was fed other foods as an alternative to eggs. Research has shown that;
* Participants in both groups had good cholesterol (HDL) levels.
* Bad cholesterol (LDL) levels usually do not change but sometimes they appear to be rising.
* Eggs containing omega-3 fatty acids lower blood triglycerides, which is a sign of danger.

The researchers therefore concluded that the use of whole eggs reacted differently to each individual because 70% of people did not experience any change in bad cholesterol levels due to the use of eggs, while 30% observed hyperresponsiveness. Although the use of a small number of eggs in some people can raise cholesterol levels, it converts bad cholesterol into smaller particles. People with high HDL cholesterol have a lower risk of heart disease. Through this research, experts agree that it is perfectly safe for healthy people to use 2 to 3 eggs a day.
How many are harmful?
In a study of egg use, participants were not fed more than 3 eggs, so the use of more eggs could have detrimental effects on health.
