Indian Taliban threaten air strike

The Hindu extremist chief minister of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, has threatened the Taliban with an air strike on Afghanistan.

According to Indian media, Yogi Adityanath, while addressing a function in Lucknow, where he criticized political opponents, also threatened the Afghan Taliban. Yogi Adityanath said that both Pakistan and Afghanistan were affected by the Taliban. But if the militant group moves towards India, the air strike is ready.

It may be recalled that after the formation of the Taliban government in Afghanistan in August this year, India had closed its diplomatic mission in Afghanistan and recalled all its staff.
