Israel formally opens embassy in UAE

Israel has officially opened its embassy in the United Arab Emirates. Ambassador Ethan Naeh will serve as Israel’s chief of staff.

The two countries reached a landmark agreement in August last year to establish diplomatic relations. Former US President Donald Trump mediated the deal.

On the other hand, the cabinet of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has approved the opening of its embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel. According to media reports, the UAE government has announced the opening of an embassy in Tel Aviv.
