Khurshid Shah’s son surrenders him before court; sent on two-day physical remand

SUKKUR: MPA Farrukh Shah, son of PPP leader Khurshid Shah, surrendered before the court on the order of the Supreme Court. The court issued orders to arrest Farrukh Shah on two-day physical remand on the leave of the accountability court judge. The NAB took Farrukh Shah into custody in the Sessions Court according to news MPA Farrukh Shah, his father PPP leader Khurshid Shah, brother Zirak Shah, brother-in-law Provincial Minister Owais Shah and eight others are being held in Sukkur accountability court on charges of making assets worth more than Rs 1.23 billion. There is a hearing in which MPA Farrukh Shah had filed an application for bail in the Supreme Court on which the Supreme Court had recently ordered him to surrender before the accountability court within three days. And today, three days later, he surrendered himself in the court of the Third Additional Sessions Judge due to the leave of the Accountability Court Judge. On the occasion of his appearance in the court, the PPP workers gave him a warm welcome. On the occasion, Sindh Provincial Minister for Transport Syed Owais Qadir Shah also accompanied him. The court summoned him after the NAB officials did not appear during the hearing. After the arguments of the lawyers during the hearing, the court reserved its verdict which was later pronounced by the judge of the court on two days physical remand and the NAB issued orders to detain Farrukh Shah after which the NAB arrested Farrukh Shah and On Monday, June 14, the accountability court issued orders to push. It should be noted that Farrukh Shah’s father and PPP central leader Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah is also in the custody of NAB.
