Massive corruption in MC Badin seeksp investigation: Murtaza Khaskheli

BADIN: Massive corruption in utilized funds and budget of Municipal Committee Badin seeks the need of investigation and inquiry on the immediate basis.

These views were expressed by Murtaza Khaskheli, an employee of Municipal Committee while addressing an important presser at Badin on Monday.

While addressing the presser he deplored that hundreds of fake and fabricated bills and vouchers were being managed illegally and huge cash was being drawn from the accounts of Municipal Committee Badin on regular basis but no one dare to bring the accused behind the bars adding that he took the mission to meet accused to its logical end.

He alleged that massive corruption was being committed and embezzlement was being done in the Municipal Committee in the account of petrol of official vehicles, development schemes, pension of retired employees, mosquito spray, sanitary items, crude oils, installation of street lights, rent and tax received from shops, call deposits of defaulted schemes, vehicles maintenance and fake orders to ghost employees.

Mr. Khaskheli alleged that more than 400 millions corruption had been done in the span of two years by alleged Chief Municipal Officer after assuming his post as CMO in Badin.

Addressing the presser, he alleged that he and his other family members were being threatened of the loss of the lives including serving him showcause notice and using other tactics adding he vowed to take legal line to face the incurred furious.

He appealed the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Chief Minister of Sindh, Provincial minister for local Government and concened high authorities to take the notice of massive corruption in illegal utilized budget of Municipal Committe Badin and provide him and his family protection and safety from the threateners.
