SHIKARPUR: An introductory gathering was held at District Red Crescent Society at its premises with journalists of Shikarpur to extend the services of Red Crescent across Shikarpur.
Agha Muneer Khan Pathan, the newly appointed Chairman of Red Crescent District Shikarpur, briefed the journalists regarding the services of Red Crescent Society and its main objectives and appealed to the philanthropists of the society to contribute and come forward for humanitarian services for the welfare of the people of Shikarpur.
The volunteers of Red Crescent Society introduced the services through a projector.
The newly elected president of Shikarpur Press Club, Sodho James, Rahim Bu Jamali, Rahmatullah Soomro, Agha Israr, Mehboob Lodro, Arif Qureshi, Irshad Arain and others participated and shared their views to enlarge the services of Red Crescent across District.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Agha Muneer Pathan, a prominent social worker of Shikarpur, has been appointed as the Chairman of Pakistan Red Crescent Society Shikarpur District Branch on 18th December of 2020 and he has been trying his level best to extend the services and objectives of Pakistan Red Crescent in Shikarpur for the welfare of the people of Shikarpur mainly in the field of the Health.
