HYDERABAD: Anxiety and anger triggered among residents and social circles of Hyderabad after the news of closure of Govt College Hyderabad spread on social media. A great number of posts were shared on social media with immense grief and anger over the decision of closure of the historic Government college which is considered a national heritage. Residents are of the opinion that Government College Hyderabad is a historic institution that has served as a mentor in educating generations for 100 years and it is the only institution not only for Phulleli and suburbs but also for hundreds of the neighboring villages. It is worth mentioning that after the establishment of GC University, The Government college was allegedly closed.
