KHAIRPUR: The Cultural Day was celebrated at Model School of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor was the chief guest of the event.
Talking to the teachers and students of Model School, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said that Sindh is the land of historic traditions. It is our collective responsibility to promote our rich culture so the youth could be aware from the rich cultural and civilization of Sindh. Dr. Ibupoto said Sindh is the cradle of peace and harmony. The role of Sufi Saints of Sindh is remarkable in this regard. Dr. Ibupoto appreciated the performance of the students who presented their tableaus, cultural songs etc. Dr. Ibupoto commended the efforts of Principal Model School, Ms. Ghazala Niaz for arranging this event in befitting manner.
Prof. Dr. Chandan Lal Rohra, Pro-Vice Chancellor Shahdadkot Campus said the Model School is rendering marvelous academic and co-curricular activities under the patronage of incumbent Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto who is highly committed to empower the youth in right direction.
Ms. Shaista Balouch, Chairperson Step Foundation appreciated the endeavor of the Vice Chancellor and Principal Model School for organizing this event because promotion of culture is the collective duty of all of us.
Ms. Ghazala Niaz welcomed the guests and participants in the event. She said it is our regular feature to organize the Cultural Day at the premises of the school. The purpose of culture day is to aware our students regarding the rich culture and heritage of Sindh.
