Muhammad Hafeez announces retirement from international cricket

Karachi: All-rounder Muhammad Hafeez, who played 55 Tests, 218 ODIs and 119 T20s for Pakistan, has announced his formal retirement from international cricket.

Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Mohammad Hafeez said that he started his journey well 18 years ago.

He said that he always represented Pakistan with pride and I would also like to say to the young cricketers that whenever they play for Pakistan, they should play with pride and consider it an honor.

The national cricketer who announced his retirement said that he wished to be a part of the T20 World Cup winning team, worked hard and tried but it was not possible which is sad.
