OGRA has proposed to increase the price of petrol to Rs 16 per liter

Prices of petroleum products in the country are likely to rise again from February 16.

According to sources, a summary of petroleum products has been sent to the Petroleum Division by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

Sources said that OGRA has prepared a summary at a levy of Rs 30 per liter and has proposed to increase the price of petrol to Rs 16 per liter.

The OGRA summary also proposes to increase the price of diesel up to Rs 14.75.

According to sources, the current petroleum levy on petrol is Rs 21.04 per liter and the current levy on diesel is Rs 22.11 per liter.
