Record depreciation of Turkish Lira

The Turkish lira depreciated by a record 7% in a single day.

Turkey’s central bank sold مارکیٹ 1.5 billion to 2 billion in the market, halting the Turkish lira’s decline.

The Turkish lira has halved against the dollar since the beginning of the year. One dollar Turkish Lira is 13.87 and one Turkish Lira is 12 rupees 61 paise in Pakistani currency.

Turkish Finance Minister Noureddine Nabati says the lira has fallen 48 percent against the dollar this year, making it the worst-performing currency in emerging markets.
