KANDHKOT: A few unidentified armed men attacked the patrolling police party on the Indus Highway near Kandhkot and as a result a police constable named Sajjad Ahmed Khaskheli died on the spot, while his two other colleagues sustained severe injuries on Monday. After the incident the attackers managed to flee from the scene. The dead body and injured cops were rushed to a local area hospital from the injured cops, who included Nazir Ahmed, Muhammad Aslam were referred to Larkana. The police have expedited the operation in the forest areas after the incident, while the funeral prayers of the martyred police constable was performed at Police Headquarter.
