Pakistan: 36 more deaths from Corona, more than 2700 new cases reported

KARACHI: The second wave of corona is intensifying in Pakistan and in the last 24 hours, 2738 more people have been confirmed with the virus while 36 people have died.

According to the corona statistics website (covid.gov.pk) in Pakistan, 42909 corona tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours in which 2738 people were confirmed to have corona virus while 36 more were infected with the virus. People died.
According to the NCOC, the corona test rate in the country during the last 24 hours was 6.4 percent.

According to the official portal, the number of deaths from corona cases in Pakistan has reached 7561 while the total number of cases has reached 368665.

In addition, 868 patients across the country have recovered from Corona in 24 hours.

The situation in the provinces
According to the official portal, the total number of corona patients in Sindh has reached 159,752 while 2780 people have died so far.

The total number of corona patients in Punjab is 112893 and 2811 people have died due to the virus while the total number of patients in Balochistan is 16624 and the death toll is 158.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the number of corona patients has been 43359 and 1319 deaths while in Azad Kashmir, 5806 people have been infected with the virus and 134 people have died.

In addition, the number of corona patients in Gilgit-Baltistan has so far reached 4494 and 93 people have died.

According to the portal, the total number of Corona patients in the federal capital Islamabad is 25,719 and 266 patients have died so far.
