Pakistan defeated Namibia by 45 runs in Group 2 of the Super 12 stage of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and became the first country to reach the semi-finals of the current T20 World Cup.
In pursuit of the target of 190 runs, Namibia scored 144 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, David Visay remained prominent by scoring 43 runs.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat and scored 189 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs thanks to excellent batting by captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan.
Muhammad Rizwan remained unbeaten on 79 and Babar Azam on 70.
