Rain and mismanagement

By: Raza Afandi

The rain, which is surely the mercy of Allah, often causes severe destruction and destruction in more or less all areas of the country. The latest series of rains has also brought this to the fore. The screaming headlines of the newspapers say that Sindh, Balochistan. And 13 people died due to electrocution and other incidents during the disastrous rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the city was submerged due to the heavy rains in Karachi and the life system was completely paralyzed, the city administration failed to deal with the post-rain situation. Roads turned into ponds, due to rain, water stood knee-deep in the city of Quaid, many villages were submerged while many roads were washed away, deaths in Lahore were caused by the collapse of roofs and walls, the flood situation in Hub Dam, dozens of people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Houses were damaged, other parts of Kohistan were cut off due to the collapse of the bridge, the Karakoram Highway was blocked due to landslides. As soon as the rains started in Karachi, electricity was cut off in many areas, due to which the water supply was also affected. And severe water shortage in the affected areas, heavy rains Water and Sewerage Board, Curr Achi Metropolitan Corporation, District Municipalities, Sindh Solid Waste Management Board and other related institutions have opened the fort of claims, the question is why do not such problems arise in many countries of the world where it rains much more than we do? The reason for this is the active system of local governments, constant availability of all civic facilities, active and diligent government machinery, proper use of government funds, complete prevention of corruption, encouragement for good performance and dereliction of duty. There is a wallet system. We can also make rain a blessing instead of a nuisance by controlling mismanagement and arranging these matters.
