By: Adeel Alvi

SHIKARPUR: Reinstated teachers of “Matta and Udher Cadre, District Shikarpur 2012” held a rally from lakhidar primary school to press club. While talking to media on this occasion teachers namely Molvi Abdul Fatah Mahar, Sajjad Soomro, Ali Asghar, Nasir Shah, Shahid Khameesani and others said that we qualified the exam of Education Department in 2012 on merit . After that, government issued offer order to us. In those orders, PT, Drawing, AWA, DT and other lower staff were included. We performed duties for 6 months. After that Sindh Government declared those appointments bogus and disqualified 355 teachers along with lower staff. We filed a case in the court against this action. After the struggle of 9 years, Sindh Government has reinstated those disqualified teachers and lower staff. The notification of reappointment has been issued. We, the teachers, appreciate this decision of Sindh Government. We demand that our salaries should be issued as soon as possible and joining on duty must be given so that we, the unemployed teachers, may not face any issue further.
