KHAIRPUR: The PhD Open Defense Seminar was held in the Institute of Commerce, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur presided over by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto. PhD Research Scholar Mr. Altaf Hussain Aureejo defended his research work on the topic “A Study of Buying Behavior of X and Y Generation towards Smartphone mediated by Brand Image: An Empirical Study of Sukkur Region, Sindh” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ikhtiar Ali Ghumro, Director Institute of Commerce and co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Hassan Jawad Soomro.
Speaking on this occasion, Research Scholar Mr. Altaf Hussain Aureejo said that my research work is to check the attitude of X and Y generation towards buying behavior of Smartphone on consumer because currently Android and Smartphone are getting importance in the market. Both old and young generations have been analyzed during the research.
While addressing the presidential speech, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said that our scholars are committed to embark quality research work on modern lines according to the need of market. The research work of Mr. Aureejo is a significant achievement in the field of promotion of business technology. Dr. Ibupoto remarked that we are providing appropriate facilities to the research scholars as result the trend of research culture is increased.
Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Ali Junejo, Dean Faculty of Management Science applauded the research work presented by the scholar. He said the research work of scholar will pave the way for new researchers.
The External Experts Dr. Niaz Hussain Ghumro, Professor, Management Sciences, Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur and Prof. Dr. Ashique Hussain Jhatial, Director Institute of Commerce, University of Sindh, Jamshoro shared their views on the research work of the scholar. They said that the research work of the scholar is as per minimum eligibility criteria of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad and on modern lines.
Prof. Dr. Ikhtiar Ali Ghumro, Supervisor, Prof. Dr. Hassan Jawad Soomro, Co-supervisor also spoke on this occasion and commended the research work of the scholar.
Prof. Dr. Tajnees Pirzada, Director Postgraduate Studies conducted the proceedings of the Open Defense seminar. The seminar was declared as successful.
