Roads to Karachi National Stadium will remain closed for five days

The traffic police has prepared a special traffic plan for the days of the Test match between Pakistan and South Africa at the National Stadium in Karachi. Traffic on various incoming and outgoing highways will remain completely closed.

According to the traffic police statement, the traffic from Shah Faisal via Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road to Sarshah Suleiman Road towards the National Stadium will be completely closed. Minhas Road, Millennium Mall.

Similarly, citizens going to the airport will also be able to go to Rashid Minhas Road Millennium and Napa Bridge on the right side of Drug Road.

The stadium from Rashid Minhas Road to Dalmia Road will also remain closed for traffic. Citizens can take the route from Millennium Chowk to Napa Bridge or Shahra-e-Faisal.

According to the spokesperson of the traffic police, the National Square flyover from Liaquatabad via Hassan Square will remain closed to the public. It will be closed, the route of Shaheed Millat or PP Chowrangi can be taken from New Town Chowrangi.

Similarly, Aga Khan Hospital, Liaquat National Hospital and residents of the area will also be able to take the route from New Town Police Station.

According to the traffic police spokesperson, entry of all types of heavy traffic from Sohrab Road to Napa, Liaquatabad No. 10 Hassan Square, University Road to Millennium Chowk and Newtown will be prohibited.

According to a police spokesman, citizens can call the Traffic Helpline 1915 for information in case of any difficulty.

It may be recalled that the first match of the two-Test series between Pakistan and South Africa will start on January 26 at the National Stadium in Karachi.
