Lockdowns due to pandemic has badly impacted almost all the sectors of the life and private educational institutions are not an exception. It has also been observed that schools could not give salaries to their staff because they couldn’t receive fees due to worst situation of the country. But it was all right when they did not receive any fees last year. After the first fatal wave when the things settled down they started collected their fees and eventually collected at par. now when they are receiving full fees since last couple of months still there are schools and college which are not paying salaries to the deserving teaching and other staff.
Today I read this heart breaking note on the one private college teacher’s wall, ” Why should I celebrate???no need to celebrate this independence day when people are dying of hunger,being choked to breathe in pandemic situation and some private schools and colleges stoped salaries of deserving teachers. The hell situation is being observed in this country to hell with the celebration.” And he is all right while writing such sad lines.
Why don’t some private schools and colleges give salary to their teachers and staff in lockdowns when they receive full fees from the parents. That’s a grave injustice. How will they survive?? The government should take immediate action because this is not only an illegal act but also unethical, insane and inhumane.
