KARACHI: Sindh Energy Minister Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh while addressing a press conference in the committee room of Sindh Assembly said that appreciating the Indian foreign policy during the presence of OIC foreign ministers in the country is highly regrettable.
This way, they are trying to escape and scared of no-confidence motion, is sign of defeat, the Speaker of National Assembly is the protector of the constitution but he himself is flouting the constitution, the interior minister of the country is showing curses and threatening.
Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh said that the Governor rule in Sindh is talk of town these days, I challenge impose Governor Rule if you can, Governor says he won’t waste any moment in this regard, Sindh is not someone’s father’s estate or booty.
He further said that it was very unfortunate that Sindh House was attacked by Tiger terrorists; this attack is an attack on the integrity of Sindh.
Imtiaz Shaikh further said that we do not want to talk in the tone of federal ministers but it we are being forced by Sheeda Tali of Pindi, we will respond in the same tone in which they use to understand. The manner, in which the storm of insults has been waged in politics, is shameful.
He further said that the manner in which Sheeda Tali of Tanga Party has spoken against the Chairman PPP is extremely shameful.
He said that you cannot take care of your members, how would you run the country?
Do you know what the state of Madinah was like? Someone asked Hazrat Umar Farooq that it was impossible to make suit from the cloth You had got from Bait-ul-Mal, Where did the rest of the cloth come from? Hazrat Umar Farooq said, “My son gave me his share of the cloth. ”This is the state of Madinah.
Imtiaz Shaikh said that you have not answered the foreign funding case even after seven years, you didn’t answer the Tosha Khana case, and how you assets increased suddenly is still questionable.
He said that Islamabad Police did not provide security to Sindh House, while Sindh Police personnel provided security to it and we salute Sindh Police.
Imtiaz Shaikh said that the news of petrol reserves crises is also a proof of the incompetence of the federal government.
He said that it is futile to expect any legal action from those who violate the constitution, if they had any evidence of false and misleading allegations, they would show it, and the esteemed judiciary should take notice of the deviation from the constitution, Parliament is supreme and the interpretation of the constitution is the job of the esteemed judiciary.
Imtiaz Shaikh said that MQM and PPP are natural allies and with our alliance the province and country will develop, there is no room for further increase in the prices of petroleum products.
Imtiaz Shaikh said that vile attempts were being made to discredit the political leadership of the country by making false allegations; issuing notice to their own MNAs is evidence that they have lost their majority, the Prime Minister is trying in use the religious card after all failures, the PPP has always followed the democratic and constitutional process and has struggled against all sorts of misfortunes.
