HYDERABAD :The sixth edition of Ayaz Melo, dedicated to commemoration of 20th century’s topnotch Sindhi poet late Shaikh Ayaz, set off here Monday at Khanabadosh the Writers’ Cafe in premises of Sindh Museum.
The two-day annual event commenced with the recitation of ‘wai’ of Shah Latif Bhitai.
Speaking at the inaugural session, Sindh Culture Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah paid a glowing tribute to Shaikh Ayaz. Taj Joyo, Jami Chandio and others also threw light on the work and personality of the prominent poet.
