Smart lockdown has been implemented in 33 areas of Lahore

Due to the second wave of corona virus in Lahore, smart lockdown has been implemented in 33 areas of the city.

According to Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care Capt (retd) Muhammad Usman, the smart lockdown will be effective till January 10. And a smart lockdown has been implemented in one, one street of DHA Phase VIII.

One street in Divine Garden, one in Walton Road, one in Supertown and one in Sui Gas Society have also been sealed.

A smart lockdown has been installed in Allama Iqbal Town Ravi Block, Rachna Block Streets and one of the Khyber Block, Bhalla Stop Multan Road Main Street.

According to the notification, shopping malls, restaurants, government and private offices will remain closed in these areas and the movement of residents of the area will be limited.

According to Capt (R) Muhammad Usman, medical services, pharmacy, laboratories, hospitals and clinics will be open 24 hours while Malik shops, chicken, meat shops and bakeries will be open from 7 am to 7 pm.
