SUKKUR: SP Railway Police Sukkur Division visited Rohri Railway Station, instructed to take precautionary measures including strict implementation of SOPs, to provide awareness to trains including railway police passengers during Eid. As well as ensuring implementation of social distance, use of masks and sanitizers, in the current situation, all precautionary measures must be taken to prevent corona virus, SP Railway Police Sukkur Division Amjad Manzoor told the media. According to a statement issued by Dawood Malik, in view of the growing fears of Corona epidemic, on the special instructions of IG Pakistan Railway Police Arif Nawaz Khan, SP Railway Police Sukkur Division Amjad Manzoor along with his staff visited Rohri Railway Station and In a statement issued by Railway Police Sukkur Division Spokesperson Dawood Malik on the occasion of the visit, SP directed the police personnel on duty and passengers to ensure SOPs and precautionary measures including reviewing the implementation and security arrangements at the OPs. Railway Sukkur Vision Amjad Manzoor also distributed masks among the passengers. Talking to media persons on the occasion, SP Railway Police Sukkur Division Amjad Manzoor further said that in order to save the country from the current situation of Corona cases in the country. He said that all safety and precautionary measures must be taken together. He said that the Railway Police is committed to strictly enforce SOPs on passenger and passenger trains at the platform and would not tolerate any negligence in this regard. He said that full action would be taken in this regard. He directed all SHOs and personnel of Sukkur Division Railway Police to work with the railway administration in their area to provide awareness to the passengers for prevention of Corona virus so that prevention of Corona virus is possible. Hoske SP Railway Police Sukkur Division Amjad Manzoor further said that an effective plan has been formulated to ensure safety of passenger trains and passengers during Eid and strict instructions have been issued to the duty personnel as per the plan to prevent any untoward incident. He appealed to the passengers to follow the SOPs during the journey and take precautionary measures so that their lives as well as the lives of other passengers could be saved.
