The revolving debt of the power sector has exceeded Rs. 2300 billion

The revolving debt of the power sector has crossed Rs 2,300 billion. During the briefing in a meeting chaired by Federal Minister Asad Umar, it was informed that the revolving debt has increased by Rs 155 billion till November.

By the end of November, the revolving credit had reached Rs 2,306 billion.

In the current financial year, the Ministry of Finance has set aside a subsidy of Rs 140 billion for the power sector while a subsidy of Rs 317 billion will be required.
