MATIARI: The General Secretary of the JUI-F Sindh Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro while addressing a students’ convention in Sahib Samo new Matiari said that there is no room for extremism in Sindh because this province has always re-mauled a citadel of peace. He added that the inept performance of the federal and provincial governments have created manifold problems for the people due to which they are dying of hunger and poverty. He also expressed grave concern over the lock-down imposed by the Sindh Government and termed it a lottery for the police officials as they will now collect their desired amount from the
traders to let them continue business against the government orders in Karachi and all other parts of Sindh. He stressed the need of bringing reforms in Sindh Police to re-store the confidence of the people in the police. Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro also announced to continue raising his voice against the occupations on the lands of the pec-ple of Sindh and demanded action against Bahria Town and other illegal housing societies. On the occasion, Maulana Naeemullah Bukhari, Maulana Azam la-hangiri, Haji Sarang Mangwano, Salem Sindhi, Shoaib Mangrio, Shahzad Memon, Saifal Memon and other leaders also addressed.
