One of Reddit’s communities, known as Transcribers of Reddit, is shutting down the channel on June 30th after the platform changed its API structure.
Transcribers of Reddit is a subreddit that actively transcribes content posted to Reddit to make it available to all. In addition, the community also raised awareness regarding different problems on the platform and provided temporary and constructive solutions to them.
The community did share a positive and strong relationship with the platform, as Reddit was interested in addressing the pointed-out flaws. However, Reddit has shown a ‘lack of willingness’ to sort out the recent changes in the API structure of the platform.
