Tribal clash claims 8 lives in Jacobabad

JACOBABAD: In the jurisdiction of Panhun Bhatti police station boundaries Garhi Khero and Shahdadkot adjoining area became a battlefield due to the long-running dispute between Jalbani and Katuhar tribes. After taking them into custody, the bodies of Katuhar tribe victims were shifted to Garhi Khairo Hospital while the bodies of two Jalbani tribe victims were shifted to Shahdadkot Hospital, from where after postmortem, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to heirs.It should be noted that 17 people from the Katuhar, Imrani and Jalbani tribes have been killed and more than 10 others injured in the ongoing clashes between the Katuhar, Imrani and Jalbani tribes in a bloody clash that started a few years ago. On the other hand, the entire family, including the son, daughter-in-law and three innocent children of the slain Muhammad Bachal Katuhar, perished, while his only survivor miraculously, Aslam Katuhar, alleged that the armed criminals Reports of the attack on Goth reached Garhi Khairo and District Police Command Jacobabad in a timely manner, but due to the traditional laxity of the police, my entire family perished.
