KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that PPP is a different party, resignations are in our pockets, we will resign on the day the leadership orders.
It should be noted that Sindh has a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government which is also part of the opposition Ittehad Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
It may be recalled that Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the opposition alliance, has directed all opposition MPs to submit their resignations to their party leadership.
On the other hand, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has also said that he will use every means to remove the federal government.
However, in the recent developments, the statement of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in this regard has come to light.
Talking to media in Karachi, Murad Ali Shah said that the day the leadership orders, we will resign, PPP is a different party.
Talking about the problems in Karachi, he said that the Deputy Commissioner Central had told about the irregularities in the DMC, perhaps some political leaders did not like such talk.
He said that we will serve Karachi and will not allow tax evasion. The reply regarding circular railway will be submitted to the Supreme Court by tomorrow.
Talking about the federal ordinance on the crimes of Sindh, the Chief Minister said that the islands are worth the province.
Talking about the arrest of Captain Safdar, the Chief Minister said that our investigation has been completed and his report has been submitted to the Cabinet.
Murad Ali Shah said that the Green Line project has not been completed yet, while our Orange Line project is connected to the Green Line.
He said that Karachi needs a modern KCR which is the right and need of the people of Karachi.
