SUKKUR: At least 11 people were killed when a van overturned on the national highway near Sukkur. Several people were also injured in the accident.
According to police, the van was on its way to Karachi from Rahim Yar Khan. The dead included women and children.
Police say eight people injured in the crash have been taken to hospital.
According to police, the dead included Mesmat Hina, Aran, Tina, Noor Fatima, Rizwan, Laiba, Tahira, Rehman, Yaqub, Rubina, while the injured included Arshad, Yaqub, Shiraz, Sajjad and Mehk among others. The injured were bandaged and discharged with minor injuries.
