At least six people were injured critically after suffering severe electric shocks when an 11kv high voltage line fell over a tractor-trolley carrying straw to perform a ritual before the annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Salamat, a few kilometers away from Jati.
The injured including Iliyas, Farooq, Maheri, Gul, and Sajjad Malah were rushed to Taluka Hospital Jati where the condition of the two was stated to be critical and they had been shifted to Civil Hospital Sujawal.
A doctor told media men that the victims had suffered burn injuries and they were being provided emergency treatment. Meanwhile, a large number of devotees of Sheikh Salamat and citizens of Jati thronged the Hospital as the news of the horrible incident broke.
