SHIKARPUR: A 6-year-old son of a laborer named Lutifullah Jalbani drowned after falling in an opened manhole in Tharopur Muhalla in the jurisdiction of the Stuart Ganj Police Station on Sunday. The body of the deceased boy was handed over to his heirs after completing necessary medico legal formalities. The father of the deceased boy staged a protest demonstration and demanded registration of a case against the local officials.
