SHIKARPUR: The District & Sessions Judge Shikarpur Mushtaque Ahmed Kalwar took Suo Motu notice of a kid Ayan Ali Jalbani, aged around six years when he, unfortunately, fell down in an open gutter at Tharopur Mohalla yesterday.
Mushtaque Ahmed Kalwar, the District & Sessions Judge Shikarpur through a letter No. DJ/-4706/2021, dated 05-04.2021, summoned the Administrator & the Chief Municipal Officer Municipal Committee Shikarpur, in which both officers have been directed to present before the honorable court on 06th April 2021 at 11:30 AM along with a complete report regarding the incident.
It is worthwhile to mention here that a six years old boy named Ayan Ali Jalbani went to a local shop to buy a few eatable things, but he fell down in an open gutter and died on the spot.
It is also worthwhile to mention here that almost all gutters in Shikarpur city are without covers and which is an alarming situation for parents.
Besides, the Chief Municipal Officer Shikarpur Abid Latif Rajput, along with his staff members visited the residence of the deceased boy and offered his condolence and expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the death of a minor boy and in a statement, he said that he at least 200 gutters are without covers and 38 complaints regarding covers of manhole have been received while 79 covers have been provided for open gutters, but unfortunately the covers of gutters used to steal therefore we have written a letter to SSP Shikarpur to lodge an FIR against the involved thief, but the result is still double zero so far.
