In a highly distressing event, a 10-year-old domestic worker died under unclear circumstances at the residence of a prominent individual in Ranipur, a district within Khairpur in the Sindh province of Pakistan.
Preliminary findings indicate that this unfortunate occurrence transpired within the premises of Pir Asad Shah Jilani’s mansion. As per information from the police, footage from the bedroom’s CCTV camera has been acquired, revealing the visibly distressed state of the 10-year-old named Fatima.
Additional videos that spread across social media after the tragic incident depict evident signs of physical abuse on the young victim’s body.
The mother of the deceased girl mentioned in her statement that her daughter was employed at Shah’s residence when the incident occurred. While the girl’s parents denied any instance of mistreatment, they asserted that Fatima was unwell and was undergoing medical care.
