All possible measure to be taken amid to protect the precious lives from lethal virus: Agha Shahnawaz Khan

BADIN : New Covid-19 variant ‘Omicron’ was more perilous and dangerous for human-being and solid efforts at every level must be taken as the protection of the people from the lethal virus to be assured. Covid-19 vaccination was very important and every of us must facilitate their family, relatives and neighbors for the complete doses of the vaccine as healthier country to be assured.
These views were expressed by Dr. Bushra Jamil, senior professor, Agha Khan University and members of board of National Command Operation Center (NCOC) while delivering her lecture to the participants of one day Webinar & Seminar on “Covid-19 Prevention through vaccine” organized by Deputy Commissioner Badin in collaboration with Medical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases society of Pakistan and Munnu Bhai Thalassemia Care Center Badin on the other day.
Dr. Bushra Jamil said that sincere efforts have been taken by Government at every level for provision of vaccine against Covid-19 to the children, youth and elderly adding that everyone should stay informed for new developments and directives regarding the Covid-19. She said that Covid-19 vaccine roll out in Pakistan was a result of well through-out plan and being regularly reviewed and optimized adding she told that vaccination was a sole way to control Covid world-wide. Adding she said that infants, children, adolescents, adults and elderly must to get vaccine against Covid-19 with facilitation of the district administration and we should take efforts in this context.
Agha Shahnawaz Khan, Deputy Commissioner Badin while addressing the seminar the participants of seminar said that district administration with support of the its key stakeholders has been succeeded to cover the targets of the Covid-19 vaccination in the district within short span of time saying that doses of Covid vaccine were available at every set point of the district.
He stressed the participants to take part in the mobilization and join the hand as people of Badin to be protected from the new Covid variant called Omicron and enunciated that all possible efforts to be taken as precious lives of the denizens to be protected.
Deputy Commissioner Badin underlined the need of the cooperation and expand awareness regarding the new Covid-19 variant ‘Omicron’ and importance of vaccination against Covid-19 and said that all institutes were on the same page and putting its palpable steps to facilitate the people of district amid to save them from Covid-19 new variant.
Dr. Iqbal Arain, Chairman, Kashif Iqbal Thalassemia Center said that Thalassemia was dangerous disease of the children and no even cure available across the world saying that only precautionary steps can change the lives and make the serene families.

On the occasion, Dr. Haroon Memon, Ghulam Qadir Junejo, Dr. Mehboob Khuwaja, Abdul Ghafar Khoso and others also addressed the participants.
