Qomi Awami Tehreek protests against Illegal occupation, bulldozing ancient villages of Sindh

SHIKARPUR: A massive protest rally was convened to record its protest, against illegal occupation on the lands of Sindh by Bahria Town and bulldozing ancient villages of Sindh, by Qomi Awami Tehreek Shikarpur, which was culminated at Shikarpur Press Club after walking various routes of Shikarpur, here on Wednesday.
Zafar Ali Channa, Advocate, Zahid Bhanbhro, Sayed Wajid Ali Shah and others expressed their great reservations over illegal occupation on the lands of Sindh and bulldozing ancient villages of Sindh over the will of Bahria Town and with the full support of Sindh government and termed Bahria Town dangerous for Sindh and its real owners.
Leaders further said that land mafia has involved in every kind of torture and barbarism to vacate the lands of Sindh by utilizing police force, private goons and political pressure which is sheer injustice with people of Sindh who are owner of 5000 thousand old civilizations which is highly condemnable act and would not be accepted at any cost.
Speakers further advised the management of Bahria Town and its owner Malik Riaz to take wise decision on keeping a vigilant eye over the issue and withdraw/cancel interfering in the affairs of Sindh and avoid taking decision to forcibly occupy the lands of Sindh.
Leaders demanded the Chief of Army Staff, Chief Justice of Apex Court of Pakistan, to take the notice of illegal occupation on the land of Sindh and bulldozing ancient villages and provide justice to the people of Shikarpur and don’t let the happen the situation towards bad to worse.
Abdul wahab kaghzi, Mian Zafar Ali Alavi, Abdul Fatah mahar, Asadullah Soomro, Ahsan jeho, Sultan Rind, Fazullah Noorani, Faheem Soomro, khan Muhammad Diyo, Ayaz sethar, Mushtaq bhutto, Shahnawaz Abro, agha Fahad khan pathan and a large number of party workers and people belonging to different walk of life participated and raised their voice against illegal occupation on the land of the Sindh and bulldozing the incent village.
