APS Peshawar martyrs remembered by SALU

KHAIRPUR: A Condolence Reference in the memory of Army Public School (APS), Peshawar Carnage was held at Students Societies Centre, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor presided over the reference. The Soorah Fatiha was offered for the departed souls of martyred of APS. The candle vigil was also performed.

Speaking on this occasion, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said this carnage was a tragic incident as result more than 150 children and teachers were martyred during the terrorist attack. These martyred children are the children of the nation. He said we are proud that our Armed Forces have eliminated the terrorism in the country by launching National Action Plan (NAP). We are united against evil forces. Dr. Ibupoto appreciated the policies of government against terrorism.

Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences said that we are with the parents of the martyred children of APS, Peshawar. It is need of the time to unite under the national. Dr. Lashari said Pakistan Army is defending the territorial boundaries and it is united against terrorism. It is also need of the hour for national integration and cohesion to strengthen our sovereignty. He appreciated the efforts of the Vice Chancellor for organizing this memorial reference.

Mr. Ali Raza Lashari, Incharge Students Societies Centre conducted the proceedings of the reference.

Prof. Dr. Farman Ali Mangi, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Masihullah Jatoi, Prof. Dr. Naveed Ahmed Shaikh, Dr. Amir Mallah, Dr. Ghulam Akbar Khaskheli, Mr. Mushtaque Ali Khaskheli, Mr. Rashid Ali Arbani, Mr. Zohaib Memon, Ms. Asia Ruk, Mr. Deep Rajput and large number of teachers, officers, employees and students attended the reference.
