Badin growers’ long march caravan to reach SIDA office Hyderabad by June 14

BADIN: The long march of hundreds of growers approached from Talhar to Hyderabad against prolonged water shortage in Badin district led by Azizullah Dero, Abdullah Chandio, Lakhi Jamali, Hashim Samoon and others.
Earlier, the growers took out rally from Barr chowk which concluded along main Badin road where the protestors paid sit-in amid heat wave against persisting acute water shortage across the district.
While addressing the participants representatives of growers said deliberate shortage of water causing economic murder of people of Laar. They said despite of dozens of protests provincial and PTI led federal government was paying no heed to redress the griviences of people of Badin causing disappointment among them.
The representatives said injustified distribution and water theft has badly affected the agro economy and growers were sustaining worsen conditions. The representatives said their struggle for the rightful demands to be continued till they were justified.
It is pertinent to mention that the long march of growers approached their peaceful protest from Badin previous day to pay sit-in in front of SIDA office Hyderabad on 14th of June, 2021 against unjustified share and water theft along Akram wah and Phuleli canal.
