At least seven people have been killed in an attack on a Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh.
A gunman opened fire on a Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh on Friday, killing at least seven people and wounding several others, according to AFP. The incident took place on the border between Bangladesh and Myanmar, where Rohingya refugee camps are located.
Police say the attackers were more than one who opened fire on some people and also attacked them with knives.
Earlier on Friday, a Rohingya refugee camp was attacked in the same area, killing four people and injuring others, the news agency said.
Police say an assailant was arrested immediately after last week’s incident and weapons, ammunition and a knife were recovered from his possession.
