Washington: US President Joe Biden has conditionally agreed to lift sanctions on Iran.
Biden has said he will not lift sanctions to bring Iran to the negotiating table, and will lift sanctions if Iran stops enriching uranium.
On the US President’s statement, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei said that Iran’s return to the nuclear deal would be possible only with the lifting of US sanctions.
It should be noted that Iran has also approached the International Court of Justice on US sanctions and the International Court of Justice has declared Iran’s request against US sanctions admissible.
