Contact of Pak-Saudi leaders

For Pakistan, which is not only facing the most severe economic problems but is also the target of conspiracies by hostile elements, it is imperative that Pakistan develop its friendly relations around the world, especially with its longtime friends. The nature and importance of Pak-Saudi relations need not be overstated. The two countries have stood by each other in every difficult time. It is gratifying that according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Media Office, Prime Minister Imran Khan was telephoned by the Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Muhammad bin Salman. And Saudi Arabia agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation and work together in all fields, while reaffirming its commitment to further strengthen long-standing ties. Prince Mohammed bin Salman inquired from the Prime Minister about his health and his Imran Khan prays for speedy recovery: Imran Khan He reiterated Pakistan’s desire to further strengthen ties and safeguard Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Saudi Crown Prince invited the Prime Minister to visit Saudi Arabia in the near future, which he accepted. Imran Khan praised Prince Muhammad bin Salman’s ‘Green Saudi initiative’ and ‘Green Middle East initiative’ and offered full cooperation in the plan to make Saudi Arabia green. This connection comes at a time when Pakistan needs friends from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates who have been helping Pakistan in every phase of the economic crisis. These ties should be and remain strong.
